MAKING THE WORLD UNIQUE, ONE TIE AT A TIME
"Our mission is to inspire individuals to uplift themselves by representing an attitude of stylistic self-expression. That basically means we want you to be an official bad ass, so that you can inspire others to be bad ass."
WE BELIEVE IN SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES BY MAKING OUR THREADS IN THE U.S.A.
Handcrafted in Brooklyn, New York, is only part of the story. Everyday we are inspired by our local surroundings and our environment. That inspiration flows from the cities we live in, the attitudes of the people, and the expression of the local cultures. We take pride in knowing that our threads are made right here in the United States and that our local communities are benefiting from that impact. It is fundamental to our mission that we support the communities that gave us our roots.
HANDCRAFTED WITH DETAILS
We go 'diggin in the fabrics' searching for unique textiles from all around the world to make our bow ties, pocket squares and short ties.
Each piece we design and create is thought of as an original piece of art. Everything is handcrafted and made in extremely limited editions and numbered within the series, so you'll know you are one of the lucky few people who are rockin' a truly unique design.
We thrive in creativity and illuminate the world through our artistic and stylistic expressions. At Mr. ShorTie, we get our inspiration from the street; from the artists, the musicians, the performers, the poets, and the street knowledge of the culture. We study the attitudes of life, and incorporate those fundamentals into our style and our actions.
THE FOUNDATION STARTS WITH THE FOUNDER
The originator and backbone of Mr. ShorTie is founder Jonathan Loth. Jonathan’s fashion roots tie back to New York City, where his great grandfather and grandfather created gentleman’s clothing in the Empire State Building. Both of Jonathan’s parents were born and raised in New York City, and they eventually moved out to the southwest, where Jonathan himself grew up.
